My ultra cute pajamas!

I made these pajamas a couple of months ago and I love them. I splurged on some lovely soft beautiful blue and purple floral cotton. It is so nice and light.

I used Burda 3379 for the top. I guess it is out of print now. From the photos on the envelope it looks like it's from the 90's. It was in the sale patterns box at the shop.  I really like this pattern. The facing is folded over to the front and then sewn down. I like this method. Is it still considered a facing though if it is on the outside of the garment? I think the nightie version of this top would make a great summer dress.

I added a blue bow at the top to match the ribbons in the bottoms.

I put a little shirring elastic at the back cos it was a little too loose for my liking.

For the bottoms I used the free Colette Madeline Mini Bloomers pattern. I have used this pattern quite a few times now. It's easy and fast to put together. I joined elastic to the ribbon around the legs to make them more comfy.
